The use of Zoom and other virtual meeting tools continues to grow as hybrid work, remote collaboration, and online learning remain the norm. In 2024, Zoom reported over 300 million daily meeting participants—a number that has remained steady since its initial surge in 2020. For comparison, back in December 2019, Zoom had around 10 million daily meeting participants. The shift to flexible work has made virtual communication a lasting part of how we connect.

Experience Matters
Even though I’ve been teaching virtually for 15+ years, I’m proud to hold the Certified Virtual Presenter (CVP) credential, which certifies that I have the tools, environment, and skills to perform a quality remote presentation using live video. And I’m currently the ONLY Certified Virtual Presenter who is also a Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT)! Plus, I’m the only Certified Speaking Professional (CSP) who is also an MCT.
